National Aptitude Test in Architecture

What is NATA?

The National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) measures the aptitude of the applicant for specific field of study, i.e. Architecture. The test measures drawing and observation skills, sense of proportion, aesthetic sensitivity and critical thinking ability that have been acquired over along period of time, and that are related to specific field of study, i.e. Architecture. It is a national level exam conducted by National Institute of Advanced Studies in Architecture (NIASA) to select the students for B.Arch Course in various colleges across India.

NATA is an eligibility test for admission into the Architecture Course. It is a compulsory test as the scores are accepted by maximum colleges.

REGISTRATION AND EXAM DATES:

 (For First Attempt):
  • January 24th 2019 – Registration starts
  • March 11th 2019 – Registrations ends
  • April 14th 2019 - 1st attempt exam date
(For Second Attempt):
  •  January 24th 2019 – Registration starts
  • June  12th 2019 –Registration ends
  • July 7th 2019 – 2nd attempt exam date

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

She/ He have passed an examination at the end of the 10+2 scheme of examination with at least 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics and also at least 50% marks in aggregate of the 10+2 level examination or passed 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
